Program Highlights
This diploma program prepares students for supportive roles in the education sector. It is designed to develop the skills and knowledge needed to work as an Educational Assistant. Throughout the program, learners explore key theories and best practices related to child development, learning processes, teaching strategies, classroom management, and student supervision. Training also covers the different responsibilities Educational Assistants take on in early childhood settings and special education environments.
Career Opportunities
Graduates are equipped to assist teachers and counsellors in elementary and secondary school settings. Career opportunities exist in public and private schools, specialized learning centres, and treatment or support facilities that work with children and youth.
