Community Services & Support Worker

If you enjoy supporting children and helping them learn, Edufinancialhub CA’s blended Education Assistant program offers a flexible way to build the skills needed in today’s classrooms. With a mix of online learning and in-person training, you can prepare for a meaningful role in education while studying in a format that fits your schedule.

In this program, you’ll learn how to assist teachers, encourage inclusive learning environments, and support students with diverse needs. You’ll also be introduced to practical tools and strategies such as sign language, Boardmaker, TouchMath, and creating individualized learning plans — all while receiving personalized guidance from instructors.

As part of your training, you will complete two practicum placements totaling eight weeks. These hands-on experiences help you develop strong, job-ready skills for roles in elementary and secondary schools, youth programs, group homes, and community support settings.
