Law Clerk & Practical Internship

Prepare for a career in the legal field with flexible online training through the Law Clerk with Internship program at Rumi Academy. This virtual learning format allows you to study from home while building the skills needed to work under the supervision of a lawyer in a professional legal environment.

Law clerks can support many areas of practice, including criminal law, family law, civil litigation, corporate law, environmental matters, real estate, healthcare, and wills and estates. The program provides a strong foundation so you can contribute effectively in a variety of legal settings.

As part of your training, you’ll complete an internship in a law office or another legal workplace. This hands-on experience gives you practical exposure to daily legal tasks and adds valuable experience to your resume.

Graduates may also choose to write the four ILCO exams in litigation, corporate, real estate, and estates law, which are required for membership with the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario.
