Program Highlights
This diploma program prepares students for supportive roles in the education sector. It is designed to build the knowledge and practical skills needed to work as an Educational Assistant. Throughout the program, learners explore key concepts in child development, how children learn, effective teaching strategies, classroom management, and student supervision. Training also introduces the different responsibilities Educational Assistants take on in early childhood settings and special education environments.
Career Opportunities
Graduates gain the skills required to support teachers and counsellors in elementary and secondary schools. Employment opportunities exist in public and private school systems, specialized learning centres, and treatment or support facilities that work with children and youth.
